Injury Prevention Program

Health educators work to prevent injuries among children, adults and seniors. Priorities include: child passenger safety, pedestrian and bicycle safety, senior falls prevention, suicide prevention, and highway traffic safety projects.

We lead the Safe Kids Spokane Coalition and the Suicide Prevention Coalition. We also coordinate similar programs for the East Region Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Council, and the Washington State Traffic and Safety Commission.

For more information about our program, please call 324-1530.
