Healthy Communities

The Healthy Communities program works with community partners, agencies, and coalitions to improve the health and safety of Spokane County residents - by focusing on four areas: injury prevention, nutrition, physical activity, and tobacco prevention and control. The program is staffed by a program manager, six health program specialists, and administrative support.

To learn more about our many projects and efforts or to get involved, call 509.324.1530.

The Healthy Communities program partnered on two Community Transformation Grants funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This infographic illustrates the changes the community made due to CDC funding.
