Public Health Clinic

Our Public Health Clinic provides immunizations, flu shots and travel vaccines; HIV testing; tuberculosis testing and treatment, and refugee screening. Fees may be reduced based on family size and income. Medical coupons are accepted. Call (509) 324-1600 for an appointment.

Immunizations

HIV/AIDS Testing
Information, anonymous testing, and counseling for HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) are available. Both a blood test and a 20-minute rapid oral test are available. Pre and post-test counseling are always provided. If test results are negative, clients are educated about ways to reduce the risk of contracting HIV. If the test results are positive, clients are referred to the Health District’s HIV/AIDS Program for additional services. Call (509) 324-1600 for an appointment.

Tuberculosis Services
Tuberculosis services are offered by appointment only at our Public Health Clinic located at 1101 West College Avenue. We offer a one-visit, accurate blood test (Quantiferon Gold TB) to determine if a person has been infected with the tuberculosis bacteria. Fees for testing may be reduced, based on family size or income. Medicaid and Medicare may also be accepted. For an appointment or information, call (509) 324-1600. Other services available include provider consultation, medication administration, and contact investigation.
